Clinic
hosts are a critical link between Jeff and the participants. Hosting
a successful clinic takes great commitment, enthusiasm and organization.
Here are some things
you may wish to consider before contacting Jeff about hosting a clinic:

All
clinics are a minimum of 4 days.
|
|
|
Clinics
are typically made up of a morning and afternoon class with a
separate entry fee for each session.
|
|
|
Minimum
clinic size: 14 participants, which may be split into 2 classes
depending on the size of the ring and the type of class desired.
|
|
|
Maximum
Clinic size: Dictated by the size of the host facility, but no
more than 25 participants per class.
|
Host
Responsibilities
|
|
Promoting
the clinic in your area. Jeff will help you out with brochures
you can send out and posters you can put up at local tack and
grain stores.
|
|
|
Ensuring
the clinic will meet the minimum size requirement.
|
|
|
Securing
a 50% nonrefundable deposit from each participant to ensure that
your clinic will meet the guaranteed minimum clinic size two months
in advance of the clinic date.
|
|
|
Providing
adequate riding facilities. An outdoor riding ring large enough
to capacitate the number of participants entered In the clinic.
An indoor area is not required to host a Jeff Griffith Clinic
however refunds wont be issued due to inclement weather.
The clinic will take place rain or shine.

|
Making
overnight stabling or turnout available for participants. There
is typically a fee associated with this that is determined by, and
paid directly to the host. |
|
|
Providing
overnight accommodations for Jeff and his assistant. To help keep
participant fees as low as possible, most hosts provide overnight
accommodations for Jeff either in their home, or at a nearby low-cost
hotel. |
Host Incentives
include one free spot in the clinic plus a small financial compensation.
